Whether looking for a vacation home, relocating to Maine for business or selling your home, choosing a real estate agent who has the tools, skills and experience you require can be as challenging. Let me make it simple for you. I have years of experience and an extensive knowledge of the Maine real estate market, dealing in residential single-family-homes, vacation homes, luxury homes, condos and land. I have a skilled network of professionals who can help you make the process seamless. Regardless of where you’re looking to buy or sell in Maine, I will be there for you! I’ve been selling real estate since 2005 without hype, or pressure, just delivering satisfying results!
A little bit about my hobbies and pastimes:
I have lived in Kennebunk for 30 years and raised two beautiful daughters in this terrific town. Over the years I have served as the Town Historian, have written two books on the history of Kennebunk, and created a “Museum-in-the-Streets” installation of 27 historic site-panels in Kennebunk. I am an avid sailor and a member of the Arundel Yacht Club. I am an artist who paints in both encaustic and pastel. I exhibit in several galleries in New England.

I spent my childhood summers coming to coastal Maine and made it my home over 35 years ago. It truly is “the way life should be”. I love the outdoors year round and enjoy playing tennis, biking, cross country skiing and, of course, walks on our beautiful beaches and trails around the area. I am a supporter of many local organizations including The Wells Reserve at Laudholm, The Eastern Trail, The Senior Center and The Brick Store Museum, and past volunteer fundraiser for the Maine Children’s Cancer Program and The Iris Network.
Prior to my career in real estate, I worked in the insurance and financial services industries in sales and customer service. I bring those skills to the table along with my love for meeting people and building relationships which don’t end at the closing table.
Whether you are looking to buy or sell a home, or looking for that piece of land on which to build your dream home, I am committed to achieving all the expectations of buyer and seller clients with honesty and integrity. My commitment is to work closely with you throughout your home buying or selling experience to ensure a smooth transaction with the best outcome be it finding the right home for you or selling your current home for the best possible price. I look forward to helping you with your real estate needs.

In my mind the hallmark of a good real estate agent is communication, which includes special attention to listening carefully. Without it, blunders are likely. I pride myself in being organized, knowledgeable, creative, and patient, which are essential traits that make a broker more a partner than merely a service provider. I never push clients—they are always the boss. Providing my services with equanimity goes a long way to smooth the bumps of an otherwise emotional transaction with clients and other brokers.
Real estate is a continuous learning experience, and I love the challenge of gaining knowledge in all aspects of this fascinating and very personal business. For commercial transactions, emotions are less of an issue, but still present. It’s more about the numbers, and I really enjoy analyzing potential real estate investments for discerning clients.
Before getting involved in sales I owned and managed commercial properties, founded and ran a music software business, and performed extensively in North America and Europe as a concert pianist in the 70’s and 80’s. I still play the piano for fun and to ward off the cobwebs. I enjoy writing fiction and non-fiction, sailing, golf, and of course those wonderful grandkids.
Let’s “partner” up to buy or sell something!
